Israel J. Trujillo, DDS

Dr. Trujillo brings tremendous training with a B.S. degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He received his D.D.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and then stayed at UCLA to complete his Specialty in Periodontal Surgery and Implantology. Dr. Trujillo and Dr. Huamán were co-residents during their Specialty training at UCLA, sharing the same quality of training and philosophy of practice.

Over the past 6 years he has conducted research in oral pathology and bioengineering at UCLA. His research has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of oral desquamative lesions (e.g. Lichen Planus), as well as the fabrication of composite scaffolds capable of the controlled delivery of growth factors.

Evelyn T. Huamán, DMD, PC

Dr. Evelyn Huamán is committed to providing the best care for her patients. A self-described “student for life”, she is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of her field in order to provide patients with predictable, successful results. She is also an advocate for patient education.

“Understanding the impact of oral health on overall health is very important,” Dr. Huamán says. “A well-informed patient helps ensure optimal results after treatment.”

She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated with special distinction in the fields of Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Huamán completed her Specialty in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry.
